Construction Management with the Owner’s Interests First
Hiring someone to oversee construction means trusting their judgment on decisions that affect your budget, schedule, and the quality of your building. My approach gives owners an independent advocate throughout that process.
I’m paid for my time and expertise. My compensation does not increase simply because the construction budget grows. When a contractor proposes a change order, I can evaluate whether the work is necessary, assess the pricing, and explore alternatives without earning a percentage of the additional construction cost.
I don’t maintain an in-house construction crew. That gives me the flexibility to recommend contractors and sequence work around your project’s needs, without the pressure of keeping my own field staff employed or moving between jobs.
As your construction manager and owner’s representative, I evaluate bids, coordinate trades, question costs, monitor quality, and help you make informed decisions. My responsibility is to you—and to the long-term success of your property.
The Advantages of My Approach
- Transparency: You see bids directly from each trade, with no contractor markups added by me. My compensation for management is separate and clear.
- Flexibility: We select contractors who fit your project’s schedule, budget, quality requirements, and preferences.
- Dependability: You have a consistent point of contact who follows through, addresses problems, and advocates for your interests only throughout the project.
